Distinguish appearance from construction

A decor reference describes a visual finish. Confirm the actual product family, substrate and surface being offered. Products with a related appearance may be supplied in different constructions.

Make the brief specific

Give the branch enough detail to discuss the correct material. Ask your fabricator to confirm dimensions and construction details against the project drawings before ordering.

• Collection, decor code and surface finish
• Panel type, thickness, board size and quantity
• Grain direction, exposed edges and joints
• Intended use and any required technical documentation

Use the correct supplier document

Match the technical document to the exact product and revision. Do not transfer a performance claim from one product family to another. Where a website field is missing, ask the branch instead of assuming a value.
