Low-density wood fibre board for insulating and levelling under floors.
Overview
STEICOisorel is a wet-process softboard bonded only by the wood's own lignin, with no added resin. At about 230 kg/m³ it insulates against heat and footfall noise, stays open to vapour, and takes more than 100 kPa in compression, so it works under screeds and click floors and as a pinboard or whiteboard backing. Saedy stocks it in 10 and 12 mm, at 2440 × 1220 mm.

Supply and lay STEICOisorel wood fibre softboard to EN 622-4 SB-E1, density approx. 230 kg/m³, thermal conductivity λD 0.050 W/(m·K), thickness as drawings, laid dry and flat with a separating layer over mineral substrates.
