Film Faced Birch Plywood
All-birch plywood with a phenolic film on both faces and an exterior WBP bond, made for formwork.
Overview
Segezha Film Faced is plywood made entirely of birch veneer, bonded with an exterior (WBP) glue, pressed with a phenolic film on both faces and finished with its edges sealed in water-based acrylic paint. The film gives the panel added resistance to moisture and chemicals, and its surface suits modern formwork systems. It comes smooth on both faces (F/F), or smooth on one face with a wire-mesh (F/W) or hexagonal (F/H) anti-slip pattern on the other. Segezha puts the life of a board with 120 g/m² film on both faces at up to about 50 uses (an indicative figure), in good conditions and with proper handling. An 18 mm sheet has 13 plies. Saedy stocks it in 18 mm.
