American White Oak
Consistent, well-graded oak in long, clean boards.
Overview
American white oak is graded to NHLA rules, so boards arrive long, wide and predictable. The heartwood is light brown with a straight grain and a closed cell structure that resists liquids, which is why it is used for barrels as well as furniture. It finishes well and ages evenly.
