Overview
Yafei Plex Select is an 11-ply poplar board with a phenolic brown film on both faces, bonded with MR (moisture-resistant) glue. The core is poplar, the edges are painted twice, and the board is hot-pressed twice and sanded, which gives a flatter, more even face than a single-pressed board. Saedy stocks it in 18 mm.
