Teak
Oily, golden and weatherproof. The marine benchmark.
Overview
Teak is golden brown with a straight grain and a natural oil content that makes it exceptionally durable outdoors, in wet areas and at sea. It moves very little with humidity and weathers to silver grey if left unfinished. Plantation-grown stock is the norm today; confirm origin and grade with the branch for each batch.
